Installation Guide
Step 1: Before installing the WIND louvre frame, ensure that the window is level with 90-degree right angles. This will ensure smooth opening and closing movement once the louvre blades are installed.
Step 2: Align the louvre frame with the window frame and screw them in. DO NOT hammer in the screws as this will damage the louvre frames and will make the frame difficult to operate.
Step 3: Use 5mm louvre glass with 3mm-5mm clearance (gap) on either side for smooth movement of the louvres.
Step 4: We recommend the use of weather seal in conjunction with Wind Louvre Frames to give you a complete solution and keep the weather out.
What can cause damage:
The mechanism is with the double bar hidden behind the profile and the clips holding the louvre blade, where the bar and the clips are linked together through the interlocking parts from both sides. When either side of the interlocking parts is damaged, the mechanism won't be able to work properly.
The clips are moved by mechanism through inter-locking plastic parts. When the inter-locking parts of the clips are damaged, the mechanism can’t move the clips as designed.
