Extended Warranty Terms & Conditions

  • The customer may visit either our Service Centre (1 Ratu Dovi Road, Centerpoint) or any Home & Living* (H&L) store nearest to them for Warranty related issues. 
  • The Extended Warranty contract shall be valid for the period mentioned in the contract form and invoice copy, duly signed/stamped by an authorised store representative. 
  • Unless required by law, once paid, extended Warranty contracts are not refundable.

  • The customer may register their complaint by calling us on 5887/5888, sending an email to service@homeliving.com.fj, visiting the Service Centre or visiting any Home & Living store with their product. 

  • This contract covers the following parts under the Extended Warranty Contract: 

  • Home Appliances/Air-conditioning Products: Compressor, Thermostat, Relay, Overload Protector, Fan motors, Timer, PCB, Heaters, Air dampers, Ice maker, Temperature sensors, Evaporators, Condensers, Refrigerant charging, Driers, Capillary, Blowers, Fan blade, Control box, Magnetron, Electrical switches, Transformers (internal), Diodes, Capacitors, Wire harness, Wash & spin motor, Gear box, Clutch Assy, Drum, Inner tub, Bellows, Bearing and lip seal, Drain motor, Pump, Electrical valves, Buzzer, Suspension, Key membrane, Remote PCB. 

  • Home Entertainment Products: Chassis, PCB, Tuner, Picture tube, Liquid Crystal Display module, Electrical switches, Plasma module, Switch mode power supply, Guns, Speaker Capacitors, Diodes, Transformer, Transistors, ICs, Remote PCB. 

  • This contract is not valid for any item not supplied or certified by Vinod Patel/Home & Living and only covers the base configuration shipped from a Home & Living store. Any additions or alterations to hardware or software does not form part of the contract and will be chargeable to the customer. 

  • H&L reserves the right to use alternative parts with performance parameters equal to those of new parts in connection with any services performed under H&L Home & Living Warranty. 

  • H&L reserves the right to assess all Warranty claims on a case-by-case basis and decide the best remedy for the customer. H&L will repair the product as the first remedy and will only replace with a similar product if the product cannot be repaired. However, if a similar product is not available or has been deranged at H&L, H&L may provide a store gift card to the original purchase value or cash refund in lieu of the replacement item.

  • If a product covered under Warranty is replaced, relevant Warranty provisions shall apply. If a customer opts for a refund instead of replacement, all Warranty provisions related to the product ceases as the product has been given back to Vinod Patel.

  • Other Warranty Terms and Conditions including exclusions remain the same as per the Invoice copy (please refer to the back of invoice).
